All of the blues in this stole symbolize the night sky, the anticipation of the impending announcement of the Prince of Peace. But all the blues also illustrate the waters of Genesis 1, the beginning of a new creation. The dove and laurel branch is a traditional symbol of peace.
The stole front is crafted from cotton fabric. The symbols are appliquéd and finished with machine embroidery. It is lined with a coordinating blue fabric.
