Welcome 2023!

A big thank you for your help with making 2022 a WOW year for Carrot Top Studio! Whether you have made a purchase, told a friend about my work, read the newsletter all the way to the end or followed me on social media it is all important for this small business.

My hope for you —

This phrase is from what is known as the St. Therese Prayer. These lovely words are actually from the 1908 poem by Minnie Louise Haskins. We think it’s especially fitting for the start of a new calendar year! Here is the poem in it’s entirety -

Today may there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is here for each and every one of us.

Make it yours!

In 2023 I look forward to hiring a studio assistant to help with sewing and shipping. This will allow me to focus growth in other artistic ways. For example, I have set a goal to learn Adobe Illustrator. Curious as to where that will lead my creating products for you? Me too! I’ll be sharing more about the journey in future newsletters.

Wishing you purpose, enthusiasm and joy for the new year!
