The Flowering Cross as an Easter Visual Connection to Worship

Previously posted April 1, 2020 — The tradition of the flowering cross is one that we've gathered examples of on a Pinterest board. There are many wonderful ways to adapt this symbol of new life. Some churches use chicken wire mesh over the cross and have worshippers each place flowers. Another approach it to drill holes into the wood of the cross and insert flowers tipped with florist-type vials of water. Maybe you have a better idea! Directions for a small flowering cross are here.
