Connecting Hearts: Seeking Insight for a Pastor Search

In the spirit of community and connection, I am grateful for the opportunity to leverage the strength of relationships within the Carrot Top Studio family.

As we seek a new senior pastor for our congregation, your insights could be a guiding light in this unique and profound journey.
Can you lend your perspective to illuminate our path?

Please read the following message from my husband Gary who is leading the committee search..

Knock, Knock, is God Calling?

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7)

Kirk In the Hills, a PC (USA) congregation in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, has launched a search for our next Senior Pastor. I'm grateful that Jen has provided her platform to reach out to you as an inspired and connected spiritual leader. Our prayer is that you might know the individual God has called to serve the Kirk, and that this letter will be the knock that opens the door to his or her future ministry at our church.

As we turn 77 and seek our 6th Senior Pastor, we are optimistic that God’s vision for our 1,500-member church has only just begun. We seek a pastor who brings strong pastoral skills in preaching, teaching, and leadership but also a pastor who can help the Kirk adapt to a changing future as we seek to live into our Mission to “Love like Jesus,” and our Vision to be a welcoming church, “Where every heart experiences God’s transforming love.”

We believe the path ahead will be an exciting and rewarding ministry opportunity. We know that our next pastor will find church leaders, staff, and the congregation at large ready, willing, and excited to move forward together.

If you or someone you know might have an interest in this role, please feel free to reach out to me with the email link below or use the Discover More button to be directed to our search site.

Thank you! In Christ, Gary Gallo,

And, here’s a visual of my husband, he’s quite the spirited Italian gentleman who dons a Scottish kilt with evident joy, a tradition he wholeheartedly embraces during the annual Kirkin’ O’ The Tartan each fall.

Thank you for considering this request and for the continued support that makes our shared communities vibrant and connected.
